ABOUT
Raised in Saskatoon and schooled in Victoria, with cross-Canada wandering and working in between, life after university took me to South Korea and the fields of language education and corporate communications. Returning to Canada, I continued as a writer, educator, and consultant, founding two businesses (one virtual, one bricks-and-mortar) and continually seeking new opportunities for collaboration. Throughout, I have found a passion for people, for igniting learning and creativity, and for helping groups and organizations articulate who they are and what they're trying to do. I now reside in Kamloops, BC, where I work primarily in the fields of community development and post-secondary education. My clients are university departments (academic and non-academic), non-profit organizations, and community groups. A strong believer in values-based organizational development, my work is guided by:
My greatest professional joy is bringing these values to organizations seeking greater vision and cohesiveness or navigating the waters of change. Outside my professional work, I am a passionate supporter of arts and culture and a writer of fiction. I serve as a Director with the Kamloops Society for the Written Arts as well as Poetry Canada, and I play / sing in the rock band Van Horne. |
